PROPERTY LAYOUT:
Our property is located on a quiet side street in the Mexican War Streets area of Pittsburgh. Upon entering our two-story home through the private front door, you'll step into the dining area, which features the dining table + desk. Through the dining area you'll find the spacious kitchen, along with the laundry area + full bathroom. Going upstairs, you'll enter the living room at the top of the stairs. From here, straight ahead is the large bedroom with a king bed. There is a loft area up the ladder that is unused & for storage only. Note that the entire property has an open, spacious feeling, with the only door being on the bathroom.
The entire property is accessible to our guests. Note that the back door / courtyard area is deadbolted, and is only accessible as an emergency exit.

Pittsburgh's Mexican War Streets are a historic home buff's dream! Originally called Buena Vista, the streets in the area were named after various Mexican War people & places, and most of the homes in the area are from the 1800s!
Mattress Factory Museum, Randyland, great coffee shops, restaurants, and a handful of bars call the War Streets home. Plus, you're an easy walk to North Shore attractions like PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium (let's be real, it'll always be Heinz Field), and all of the bars & restaurants of the North Shore. A super safe & family friendly area, it feels more like a NYC or Boston neighborhood than Pittsburgh - it's one of the most desirable areas of Pittsburgh to live.
We recommend using Uber or Lyft to navigate in Pittsburgh. It's a notoriously difficult city to drive in (but we have little traffic!) They're affordable and abundant. If you do choose to drive in the city, we offer free street parking with our included digital parking permit.

Chad’s place is beautiful! My boyfriend and I stayed here for New Years and it was perfect for just us two. It’s very cozy and comfortable with a lot to do nearby. We didn’t have any issues with getting rides from ride share apps and they were all very reasonably priced if you wanted to venture out further. We would definitely stay here again! My husband and I wanted to get away for a sightseeing tour of Pittsburgh. The house was conveniently located to many of the sights we wanted to see and we were able to walk to the National Aviary and a short drive to the Andy Warhol Museum (we could have walked but it was raining). We walked to a couple of the taverns nearby for dinner and there was a grocery store within walking distance as well.
Best of all for me was the cookware. I've recently stayed a couple of places where I would not want to use what was available or they simply didn't have what I needed. I loved the ones at this house. Also, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in and the bedding was luxurious.

Beautiful home. Lots of space and beautifully decorated! This the interior designer of this place did a great job. It was very well equipped. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. There is quick access to downtown Pittsburgh by car.
