Pittsburgh's Mexican War Streets are a historic home buff's dream! Originally called Buena Vista, the streets in the area were named after various Mexican War people & places, and most of the homes in the area are from the 1800s!
Mattress Factory Museum, Randyland, great coffee shops, restaurants, and a handful of bars call the War Streets home. Plus, you're an easy walk to North Shore attractions like PNC Park, Heinz Field (let's be real, it'll always be Heinz Field), and all of the bars & restaurants of the North Shore. A super safe & family friendly area, it feels more like a NYC or Boston neighborhood than Pittsburgh - you'll love it!
We recommend using Uber or Lyft to navigate in Pittsburgh. It's a notoriously difficult city to drive in (but we have little traffic!) They're affordable and abundant. If you do choose to drive in the city, we have garage parking for one large or two medium size vehicles in our private garage.View More

Amazing home! Cleanest place I’ve ever stayed, fantastic neighborhood and garbage was such an added bonus. Easily walkable to several great spots. The home was beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed our stay and would like to return to this airbnb for our next Pittsburgh trip. The kitchen is stunning and the coffee provided was fantastic. Our hosts were wonderful and quickly responded to messages! Highly recommend this airbnb if you’re headed to Pittsburgh! We travelled from Canada to attend a Steelers game on Christmas Day. This Airbnb was perfect for our 2 night stay! We were 5 adults and the 3 large bedrooms provided ample room. The location is on a quiet street about a 15-minute walk to the stadium. The kitchen was well equipped to make breakfast and dinner each day. It is a heritage home and the decor and ambience were lovely. The hosts were pleasant and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb. This place is an amazing option of places to stay!!!!! It’s close to lots of things and it’s super nice inside!! Highly recommend!!!
